Our core offer is made up of the most popular services we provide to our partner schools and is our most cost efficient support package.

As with all of our services this can be tailored to meet individual school/ organisational needs but provides a foundation of opportunities for your school.

Play Leader Development

Provision of training and resources to young play leaders/support staff to promote social integration on the playground and increased activity levels.

Cycle training

Our cycle training scheme is registered with Department for Transport nationally and allows us to deliver high quality cycle training for children and young people. We are able to offer 2 x Level 1 Bikeability courses to develop cycle skills for children in Years 3 & 4. We also offer 2 x Level 2 Bikeability courses to develop the skills and techniques required to ride safely on the roads for pupils in Years 5,6,7 & 8.

Cycle-Bugs

Infant schools only. Using balance bikes for reception and key stage 1 children, allowing them to develop balance coordination and physical literacy. A great way to start a child’s cycling journey.

The PE Hub

We provide a subscription to www.thepehub.co.uk which hosts a comprehensive collection of lesson plans. These have been designed to promote the principle of teaching to pupils’ current ability and their readiness to learn new skills and build on previous learning.

AfPE Membership

In the absence of guidance and support from Local Authority PE specialists, and an increased need to keep on top of national guidance and regulations, we provide group membership to the Association for Physical Education. Through this you can access regular subject uptakes, specialist advice (including on health and safety matters) and the members only area of the website.

FA Skills

Curriculum based football sessions run by an FA coach, this is a six week programme in which teachers have an opportunity to develop their teaching of Football as they work with professional coaches.

PE Specific training

We host centralised training to ensure that school staff have access to current CPD opportunities, as well as promoting opportunities to attend courses held across the sub-region
